Marcia Lucas, owner of El Interior, travels to Mexico and Guatemala a couple of times a year and hand-selects most of the items in our store. Because so many of them are handmade by local artisans, it’s not easy to find the exact same thing. We try to stock up on what’s been popular, but we can’t always guarantee we’ll be able to get more of the same products. You are always welcome to call or contact us with your request and we’ll see what we can do!
We try our best to match the colors of the clothing in the images to the colors of the actual clothing — each garment is held up to the computer screen and the hues are adjusted accordingly! Of course, what we see on our screen may not match what you see on your screen due to varying computer settings. In cases where we have multiples of the same item with only slight variations in the embroidery or designs, we won’t necessarily take pictures of each one. However, we’ve tried to make note of those variations in the item’s description.
Unfortunately, we don’t typically offer in-store refunds — most of our items are handmade and one-of-a-kind and we can’t always maintain our high level of quality if the items come back damaged or worn. We can, however, offer store credit or an exchange for a similarly-priced item.
We can occasionally offer refunds for items purchased online — although we try to encourage exchanges or store credit whenever possible. If you have any questions or concerns, please call or e-mail us to work out the particulars. We try our best to ensure happy customers!
