Visiting Master tin artist Beto in his Studio.
I had the good fortune to be in Beto’s taller when his father, Santiago dropped in for a visit. He was Beto’s teacher and began training his son his art and craft when Beto was 8 years old. Beto shared with me that he trained and worked in his father’s shop for 14 years until he was 22 and then started his own workshop. Beto, a master tin artist now has some 34 years running his own studio.
