Marcia's Minute
Well, we're experiencing our usual crazy weather
fluctuations this time of
year in Texas! Even though the cold weather is
coming back in full force, don't let that stop
you from coming in for our annual Preferred
Customer Event. This is the best sale that we
have all year, and if you're short on cash after
the holidays, you can always use layaway!
For the colder weather around the corner, you
may want to break out your Karen Wilkinson
jackets--and if you don't have one yet or would
like to add to your collection, please mark your
calendar for her upcoming Spring Trunk Show. It
will be the first weekend in March, and we
specifically requested that she bring in a nice
selection of Guatemalan fabric jackets this
year, since they really are the perfect weight
for the spring and fall. Not too heavy, not too
light.
Amy and I are off to Oaxaca next week, so if you
have any special last minute requests, please
let Amy know before Saturday! We can always keep
an eye out for something special for you.
We're in the process of giving the store a
"face-lift", so stop in and see the new look!
You'll also want to see the beautiful new window
display that my very talented staff has put
together. There is lots going on in the store,
and we've already started to receive our new
spring fashions, so you will definitely want to
stop in and say hello.
We'll also be working hard this spring to update
our internet system for ordering, in order to
make it easier for those of you who are
out-of-town. I love that the internet has made
it possible for us to develop some wonderful,
lasting relationships with people from all over
the country. We're truly grateful for your
friendship and support, and we hope to make it a
little easier to serve you in the future.
Thank You for making last year terrific and
Happy Spring!
Saludos,
Marcia Lucas
