| In addition to the Guatemalan fabric that
we sell by the yard, El Interior also has an outstanding collection of colorful,
hand-woven and embroidered textiles includes work from all regions of
Mexico and Guatemala: pillow covers, wall hangings, sarapes, Zapotec
rugs and rebozos. El Interior carries a wide selection of Guatemalan
tablecloths, napkins, table runners and bed linens from Zacualpa and
Chichicastenango. Tucked in with the woven fabric by the yard are
noteworthy examples of collector quality and antique textiles. Richly
colored and textured, hand woven and crocheted bags from the Mayas of
Guatemala, hand woven belts: from collectibles to simple sashes.
The fabric that we sell by the yard is 100% cotton and
woven in the incredible colors from Guatemala. They are machine washable
and generally about 35" to 36" wide.
